For a research group in the EUROSTAT, the statistical office of the European Union located in Luxembourg , a new open position as external consultant is available.
As freelance, the gross salary is 103’000 eur/year depending on the proved working experience and skills.
The ideal candidate is a webgis developer with:
- Good knowledge of Java
- Good knowledge of map viewer development for web browsers and mobile platforms (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Good knowledge of map viewer frameworks (e.g. OpenLayers, Leaflet)
- Good knowledge of development tools for GIS software
- Knowledge of databases
- Knowledge of R (as asset)
Highly motivated, experience and ability in working in an international/multicultural environment, and the ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
